Job Overview

HireShire is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive to support daily human resources operations within the Canadian market. The ideal candidate will assist with recruitment coordination, employee lifecycle management, HR documentation, and compliance while contributing to a positive and professional employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring accurate documentation and system updates.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to support hiring plans and workforce needs.
  • Assist in implementing and communicating HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with US employment laws and labour regulations.
  • Support payroll coordination, attendance tracking, and leave management.
  • Address employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and workplace guidelines.
  • Assist in employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR operations, recruitment, or talent acquisition (internship experience considered).
  • Basic understanding of Canadian labour laws and HR compliance.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace; familiarity with HRIS / ATS tools is a plus.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
  • Experience supporting US-based hiring operations.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Exposure to employee relations and performance management processes.

Stipend- You’ll get a stipend of £150.00 to £200.00 per week.
