Job summary
An international education company is seeking a GCE English Language and Literature Examiner to mark candidates’ responses according to a predefined mark scheme. The role requires a degree or equivalent qualification and teaching experience in the relevant subject. Responsibilities include accurate marking, submitting samples, meeting marking milestones, and completing administration tasks. Training will occur between May and June, with the marking period from May to July. This position allows for onscreen marking from home, offering flexibility.
Qualifications
- At least one year's full-time teaching experience in the relevant subject and qualification, in the last 8 years.
Responsibilities
- Mark accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained.
- Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times.
- Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to.
- Complete all administration as specified.
