A leading defense organization is seeking a Lead Thermal Engineer to manage critical projects and improve system thermal performance. The role offers a salary around £55,000 and a dynamic working model with flexibility between onsite and remote work. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and experience with CAE tools, as well as strong problem-solving skills. The position is based in Stevenage, UK.
At MBDA, you will lead a variety of projects that stretch your skills and imagination as a Lead Thermal Engineer. You will be part of a highly motivated team focused on improving effectiveness and influence within MBDA. The role involves working on UK and multinational projects pivotal to the future success of MBDA and the security of the UK. Attendance onsite is required, but Dynamic Working Agreements allow high levels of flexibility, balancing office and remote working where possible.
Salary: Circa £55,000, depending on experience.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2–3 days onsite at Stevenage or Bristol offices, with the rest remote.
British citizen or dual UK national required. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
