A leading defense organization in the UK is seeking a dedicated individual to join their Land Ceptor team. You will be responsible for leading product development, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of UK and export customers. The role offers hybrid working, a competitive salary, and growth opportunities as the team expands. Candidates are expected to have strong organizational skills and the ability to foster strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have experience with physical architectures and team leadership.
Join the Land Ceptor team and work to support the British Army in realising the full potential of its latest Ground Based Air Defence capability and tailoring this capability for the needs of existing and emerging export customers. You'll be building on world-class design: incorporating new ideas, functionality and technology to deliver to our customers.
Salary: Circa £ 50,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
Within the Land Ceptor Physical Domain team you will be the focal point and responsible for future product development to ensure that Land Ceptor maintains its relevance and continues to meet the changing needs of customers, both UK and Export.
Reporting to Head of Equipment; Product Line (Land Ceptor) you will act as the Lead on Land Ceptor Physical Product Development, to take the existing physical design solution and determine how best to evolve it to meet existing and potential future customers' requirements in the medium (2-4 years) and long terms.
This role offers growth potential as UK and export requirements come to fruition and the team continues to grow, with there being an opportunity to manage a small team.
