GSL Education are currently seeking a supportive and committed Classroom Support Assistant to work in schools in Doncaster. In the role of Classroom Support Assistant, you will be essential in aiding teachers during lessons, supporting pupils’ learning, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
• Encourage and motivate pupils to engage in learning activities.
• Support children with additional needs, adapting your approach where necessary.
• Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements for Classroom Support Assistant:

• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and build positive relationships with pupils.
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
