Job summary
A leading logistics firm is seeking an HGV 2 Driver in Birmingham for an ongoing role until Christmas. The position involves shunting between warehouses with afternoon shifts. Candidates must possess a valid HGV Class 2 (C) license and have a strong work ethic. This role offers a pay rate of £17.37 per hour.
Qualifications
- Must have HGV Class 2 (C) license, Driver CPC & DIGI Cards.
- Max 6 points for speeding offences are acceptable.
- Must be reliable, flexible, and self-motivated.
Responsibilities
- Shunting between local warehouses.
- Opening and closing curtainside vehicles.
- Working on a tight schedule while maintaining safety.
Skills
Location: Marston Green, Birmingham
Salary: £17.37 Per Hour (PAYE With Holiday) Minimum 8 hours
Shifts: Monday - Friday, PM Shift Available 14:00 - 22:00 PM Shift
THIS IS AN ONGOING ROLE UNTIL CHRISTMAS
HGV 2 Driver required for a position with our well-known packaging company, shunting between warehouses.
- Shunting between local warehouses round the corner
- No Handball required
- Opening and closing of curtainside vehicle
- Afternoon start time 14:00 - 22:00 PM
- You MUST be in possession of a HGV Class 2 (C) license, Driver CPC & DIGI Cards
- Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a max. of 6 points. NB: no other endorsements / convictions are acceptable.
- Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, Upbeat, self-motivated and resilient - are welcomed in this role.
- Able to work on tight schedule whilst maintaining high safety standards throughout.
