Fire Safety Consultant – London

Salary: £60,000 + discretionary bonus

Location: Fully remote (Monday to Friday, 9–5)

Are you an experienced fire safety professional looking to focus on high-profile, complex projects rather than routine assessments? Our client, a specialist fire engineering and risk management consultancy, is seeking a Fire Safety Consultant to join their small, expert technical team.

You will provide on-site fire safety advice during capital works and refurbishment projects, helping clients ensure that their buildings are safe, compliant and optimised for design changes. Projects include commercial offices, heritage buildings, high-end residential developments, and other prestigious sites across London. You will work closely with clients such as solicitors, developers and property managers.

This is a fully remote role with a clear 9–5 structure, offering excellent work-life balance, with occasional site visits as required.

• Provide expert fire safety advice for capital works and refurbishment projects
• Review designs and building modifications to assess fire safety implications
• Collaborate with clients and project teams on technical solutions

• Strong experience in fire safety consultancy, ideally with hands‑on site experience
• Knowledge of fire engineering principles and practical application on building projects
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely
• Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and project teams
