Job Description

A rapidly scaling distressed debt and special situations hedge fund — currently on the path to becoming a multi-billion dollar platform — is looking to appoint a Senior Risk Manager to play a pivotal role in its next phase of growth toward $3–5BN AUM.

This is a newly created and high-impact position, designed for a proactive risk professional who can partner closely with the investment team and leadership to shape and evolve their risk framework.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing and implementing the fund’s overall risk management framework
• Advising on risk concentration and portfolio exposure
• Supporting the development and execution of hedging strategies

Collaborating with senior leadership to ensure risk is embedded in strategic decision-making

What We’re Looking For:

• Demonstrable experience in credit risk — ideally with exposure to distressed credit, although not essential
• A sharp, analytical mindset and the ability to anticipate risks in complex and fast-moving markets
• Strong communication skills to influence investment and operational stakeholders
• A hands-on, proactive approach to risk — you're someone who sees around corners and doesn’t wait to be asked
