Our client is a leading quant and systematic hedge fund, leveraging a deep knowledge of trading, technology and operations to deliver high-quality, uncorrelated returns. Seeking a Linux Platform Engineer with a background in ultra low latency systems to join their team in London or Singapore.
In this role, you will provide low-latency infrastructure solutions consistently across 400+ servers at 22+ global sites. Your responsibilities will cover project delivery, support escalations, monitoring, automation, security, documentation and capacity management. This will involve collaborating with business partners, application owners, clients, vendors and internal teams to deliver systems, based on Linux (CentOS and Rocky) in response to requirements and day-to-day requests. You’ll also take the initiative where possible to automate routine tasks and promote the practice of Infrastructure as Code.
