Job Title: Twilight Registered Veterinary Nurse

Location: Eastcott Referrals

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours/week - 5 x 8 hour days Monday-Friday, 4pm-12am. 1 in 8 weekends with days off the following week.

Salary: £30,500-£36,000 depending on experience

This is a full time permanent position. The working hours are:

• Monday to Friday: shifts between 4pm and 12am
• 1:8 weekends with days off the following week

We are looking for someone who is:

• An RVN with at least 1 years post qualification experience
• Team spirited and passionate about quality care
• Previous experience of working within a busy referral setting and out of hours work is desired but not essential. Full training and support will be provided.

You’ll be working alongside a wonderful team including a very supportive PCA team, and you’ll be fully supported by the whole nursing team.

Eastcott is an innovative tier 3 multidisciplinary referral and primary care hospital located just off the M4 in Swindon, Wiltshire.

We see cases from a variety of disciplines, including cardiology, orthopaedics, soft tissue, neurology, dentistry, ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, ECC and primary care.

The role encompasses all nursing skills including:

• Nursing patients from a range of referral disciplines including internal medicine, neurology, soft tissue, orthopaedics, cardiology, dentistry, ophthalmology, as well as patients from our out of hours and primary care services.
• You will be responsible for supporting the evenings/nights, and striving to improve patient care and efficiency within the department.
