Job summary
A well cultured manufacturing organisation in Prestwick is seeking a Mechanical Bias Engineer to support planned and reactive maintenance across site machinery and facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical maintenance, a strong mechanical background with basic electrical knowledge, and an understanding of Health & Safety requirements. This role involves ensuring compliance, supporting continuous improvement, and maintaining equipment, with a focus on minimising downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical background with basic electrical knowledge.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant and equipment.
- Support breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and site regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Support continuous improvement activities.
