Job summary
A primary education provider in North London is seeking Criminology graduates to serve as Teaching Assistants. In this role, you will support young pupils with Special Educational Needs and help them develop through personal attention and tailored educational strategies. These positions can be full-time or part-time, allowing for flexibility in your schedule. Ideal candidates will possess prior knowledge in child development and strong communication skills.

Are you a Criminology graduate with a keen interest in child development, behaviour, and safeguarding? Are you looking to gain hands‑on experience supporting vulnerable young children in a school setting?
We are working with a number of Primary schools across North London seeking caring, confident, and proactive graduates to support pupils aged 4–11 with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and behavioural challenges.
In this role, you will :
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND and behavioural needs
- Assist with classroom management, emotional regulation, and individual learning plans
- Implement targeted intervention strategies in collaboration with the SENCO and class teacher
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement, independence, and self‑esteem
- Work closely with external agencies, including CAMHS, therapists, and safeguarding teams, where appropriate
Flexible work options: We have full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant contracts available in primary schools across North London.
