Graduate Teaching Assistant – Hayes – Immediate Start

Are you a Psychology, Education or Childhood Studies graduate looking to kick-start your career in a primary school? If you want real classroom experience, proper mentoring and a school that will genuinely invest in you, this role is perfect.

The School A warm, supportive primary school in Hayes is looking for a motivated Graduate TA to join them full time. You’ll work across EYFS/KS1/KS2, supporting learning, running small interventions and gaining hands‑on experience with SEND. Ideal for anyone considering teacher training, educational psychology or learning support roles.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
  • Assisting with learning, confidence‑building and progress
  • Delivering targeted interventions with guidance from the SENDCo
  • Gaining experience across different year groups
  • Making a daily impact as a calm, positive role model
What We’re Looking For
  • Graduate in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies or similar
  • Some experience working with children (tutoring, mentoring, youth work, schools)
  • Real interest in SEND, child development and primary education
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first approach
  • Reliable, enthusiastic and ready to learn
