Mobile Application Developer - Graduate Considered

A fantastic opportunity for a recent Graduate or experienced Mobile Applications Developer to join an industry leading software company in Leicestershire. This is an ideal role for someone with strong commercial experience in Android development who is looking to further their career within a supportive and well established engineering team. The company offers excellent training, ongoing development and long term prospects.

Location

2 days a week in their office in Leicestershire, with transport links from Leicester, Rugby and Market Harborough

Salary

£29,000 to £45,000 plus benefits (£29k for a recent graduate)

Requirements

• Experience developing mobile applications for Android devices
• Knowledge of Android Studio with Java or Kotlin, including relevant frameworks and JNI
• Knowledge of Objective C or Swift with Xcode
• Appreciation for designing for accessibility
• Exposure to Mobile Device Management integrations
• Knowledge of automated mobile testing tools such as Appium
• Experience managing releases on the Google Play Store and or Apple AppStore
• Fantastic communication skills
• Degree educated in a Computer Science related subject such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Software Engineering or similar

Beneficial Experience

• Experience using C++ for cross platform mobile libraries
• Experience designing, developing, deploying and supporting mobile applications for iOS devices

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high quality mobile applications
