A well-established Mechanical and Electrical Services Contractor in the UK is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer. The role involves installation, service, and maintenance of various air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial environments. Candidates should possess at least 3 years' experience, F-Gas certification, and NVQ qualifications. This position offers a competitive hourly rate, a company vehicle, pension scheme, and comprehensive training opportunities.
Roberts & Prowse, based on the Elgin Industrial Estate in Swindon, Wiltshire with regional offices in Fernham and Brill, are a Mechanical and Electrical Services Contractor operating throughout the Home Counties, South West & South East of the UK. Due to sustained success and growth, we are recruiting for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join our busy team.
As an Air Conditioning Engineer you will report directly to the Senior Mechanical Contracts Managers and Site Managers and will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of all types of DX (direct expansion) air conditioning and heat pump systems—ranging from residential split and multi-split systems to large commercial VRF/VRV and hybrid VRF systems—within residential and commercial environments across our operating regions.
Essentially you will be a time-served Air Conditioning Engineer with a background in Residential and Commercial Building Services. You'll work accurately and effectively with minimal supervision, communicate clearly with clients and colleagues, and perform well under pressure while maintaining safety and quality standards.
