A leading immigration law platform is seeking specialist freelance contributors to write about immigration and asylum law. This remote role requires experience in UK immigration law, fluency in English, and the ability to analyze complex legal concepts quickly. Successful candidates will draft articles for a wide audience, with compensation typically £100 per article. Applications are due by 5 pm on 22 November 2023.
We are seeking specialist freelance contributors to join our team at Free Movement, a platform dedicated to providing updates, commentary, training, and advice on immigration and asylum law. As a contributor, you will have the opportunity to write for a wide audience and support the hard work that goes into maintaining our website.
We are particularly interested in hearing from legal practitioners in business and student immigration, as well as those keen to write about new cases and developments in immigration law, policy, and practice. Successful applicants will be able to respond quickly to new developments, write fluently and concisely, and analyze complex legal concepts in simple language.
Responsibilities and requirements include:
Work will be undertaken remotely and on a non-employed basis, with fees payable for the work negotiable but typically £100 for a standard article. If you are interested, please upload a one-page letter in PDF format setting out why you think you would be suitable, along with up to three examples of your previous writing.
