Job summary
A consultancy firm based in Redruth is seeking a Revit/BIM Technician responsible for managing detailed Revit models for MEP projects. The successful candidate will possess strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, have a solid understanding of UK building regulations, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. Revit/BIM Technician — £37,500 (starting salary) • Redruth, Cornwall • Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Revit/BIM Technician to join a consultancy based on the outskirts of Redruth. The client provides full MEP Building Services across sectors including Healthcare, MOD, MOJ, Commercial and Industrial. This is a great time to join as they are winning projects and have a large project pipeline. You would join at the beginning of an exciting journey with the company.
- Create and manage detailed Revit models for MEP projects
- Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and construction documentation
- Coordinate Revit models with external consultants and internal project teams
- Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and internal/Client BIM standards
- Support BIM coordination meetings and clash detection processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM workflows and company standards
- Proven experience as a Revit Technician in a UK-based architectural or engineering practice
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and a solid understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication and team collaboration abilities
- Experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, or other BIM software
