Job summary

A leading staffing solutions provider is seeking a skilled MET Technician / Strip Fitter in Barking. You will repair damaged vehicles according to manufacturer specifications in a modern Bodyshop. The ideal candidate has completed a recognized apprenticeship and has experience in busy body shops. This role offers a salary range of £40,000 to £46,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in MET Technician / Strip Fitter.

Job description

MET Technician / Strip Fitter details:
Salary: £40,000 - £46,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
Location: Barking

Talented and efficient MET Technician / Strip Fitter to join this leading team.
As a MET Technician / Strip Fitter, you will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers' specifications within a state-of-the-art Bodyshop, utilising modern equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
• Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications

• You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA).
• You must have previous experience working as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
• You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
