Structural REVIT Technician

Birmingham and Dudley

Up to £47,000 + BENEFITS

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced, Structural Revit Technician to join a forward-thinking civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Birmingham or Dudley.

The practice works across a diverse portfolio of projects including retail, leisure, healthcare, residential and education buildings. With a reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions, the team is looking to strengthen its BIM and Revit capability with a senior technician who can assist on project delivery and mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. The production of accurate structural Revit models and drawings
  2. To develop and maintain Revit families, templates, and BIM standards
  3. Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure models are fully integrated
  4. Production of high-quality plans, sections, details, schedules etc
  5. Provide quality assurance checks on models and drawings
  6. Mentor and guide junior technicians, supporting their development in Revit workflows
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes and best practices within the business
Requirements
  1. 5+ years’ experience as a Structural Revit Technician
  2. Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure with a solid understanding of structural detailing and coordination
  3. Proven track record of working on multi-disciplinary projects and delivering coordinated BIM models
  4. Knowledge of UK building standards, detailing practices, and BIM protocols
  5. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
  6. Strong communication and collaboration skills
