A utilities company in the UK is seeking a CCTV Drainage Technician to perform CCTV surveys and produce detailed reports on drainage systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in utilities or drainage, knowledge of CCTV and jetting equipment, and a flexible approach to work hours, including early starts and weekends. The role offers full-time permanent employment with various perks and a commitment to career development.

Working from one of our custom-equipped CCTV vans or our custom-equipped specialist Jet Vac vehicles, you will visit all types of clients - commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road, utility, etc. You will carry out CCTV surveys of drainage systems, assess pipe conditions, analyse results, and produce high quality reports. All this in conjunction with our Jetting Units when required, therefore you will be responsible for working safely and efficiently. Follow instructions from the Engineer(s) on site but also work under your own initiative where possible.

You need to be flexible too: we operate 24/7 so there will be early starts, weekend working and an out-of-hours working across the UK.
This role is suited to someone with experience in the utilities or drainage sector and confident in using CCTV and jetting equipment such as MiniCam Proteus, Jetvac , or Recycler units. A full clean driving licence is essential, and qualifications such as Confined Space Level 2, High-Pressure Water Jetting, CSCS, and First Aid at Work are highly desirable. You'll be working across varied environments, so strong Health and Safety awareness, excellent communication skills, and a flexible, team-focused attitude are key.
