Spire Occupational Health (Spire OH) are looking for dynamic, efficient and confident Occupational Health Technicians to support our Occupational Health Services on a bank or contract basis (hours are flexible and/or, on an ad-hoc basis).

This is an exciting opportunity for Spire OH where you will be independently managing health surveillance clinics, handling tasks on client sites and providing confidential, accurate reports in various formats.

As an Bank/Contract Occupational Health Technician, there will be travel to client sites required on an ad-hoc basis in various regions across the UK to deliver our services. Therefore, access to a vehicle and valid driver\'s license is essential in this position.

• Experience or exposure in the Occupational Health Sector.
• Experience as an Occupational Health Technician or Occupational Health Nurse.
• Access to a vehicle and a valid driving license for travel to client sites.
• Level 3 Maths and English.
• Strong IT Skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Undertaking health screening procedures including general baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, and urinalysis.
• Testing for Drug and Alcohol.
• Carrying out fitness for work medicals.
• Undertaking health surveillance activities.
• Delivering health promotion activities.
• Ensuring all medical information is accurately recorded.
• Responsible for looking after the equipment and ensuring it is serviceable, clean, and fit for purpose.
• Providing support to the Occupational Health team when needed.

• Comfortable working on a temporary and ad-hoc basis when and if required.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Can work autonomously and in a team.
• Can effectively build relationships.
• Professional and hard-working.

• Proof of right to work in the UK.
• Valid and up-to-date DBS Certificate.
• Employment References.
• Valid Driving License and access to a registered Vehicle.
• Access to a calibrated Kit is desirable if you are self-employed.
