Linux Infrastructure Engineer - Banking & Finance
Job summary
A leading fintech company is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to enhance their trading exchange operations. The role involves reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, supporting system performance, and deploying Linux environments. Candidates should have over 4 years of Linux OS experience and thrive in high-pressure situations. This position is based in London and offers a competitive salary of £65,000 to £85,000 plus bonuses and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Head of Infrastructure and play a pivotal role in building out the infrastructure.
- Monitoring and supporting the exchange infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Leading new projects, working closely with developers and the security team to implement innovative solutions.
- Ensuring seamless deployment and administration of Linux OS environments.
Must Haves:
- 4+ years experience with Linux OS, including administering and deploying.
- Proven experience working in professional services, particularly in high-pressure environments.
Nice to Haves:
- Knowledge of network configurations and management.
- Experience with databases and their integration.
- Automation experience (Python, Bash)

Salary:
- £65,000 - £85,000 + Bonus/Benefits
