A leading food manufacturing company in Bilsthorpe is seeking an experienced Operations Shift Manager. The role involves overseeing factory operations, ensuring quality standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates will have 5-10 years of management experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in chilled food manufacturing. This is a great opportunity for those passionate about operational excellence.
Qualifikationen
- Minimum of 5-10 years of management level experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience ideally in chilled food manufacturing.
- Proven track record in Continuous Improvement and team development.
Aufgaben
- Oversee full factory Operations and ensure quality and cost standards.
- Support consistent performance and work cross-functionally.
- Implement Continuous Improvement initiatives and lead risk assessments.
Kenntnisse
Are you an Operations Shift Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Senior Production Manager?
This role is a 4 on 3 off days only position.
We are currently working with a multi-site, blue chip food manufacturer who are looking for an Operations Shift Manager to join the team.
The responsibilities of the role will include overseeing full factory Operations, ensuring quality and cost standards are met, supporting consistent performance and working cross functionally with Quality, H&S, Hygiene and Engineering teams, implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives and leading risk assessments/accident investigations.
To be successful in the role you will need to be a strong manager with a minimum of 5-10 years' experience at management level in a fast paced environment, ideally chilled food manufacturing. A proven track record in Continuous Improvement and people development will be essential.
