A well-established and growing services organisation, now part of a larger international group, is seeking to appoint a commercially minded, tech-savvy Head of Finance. This role offers the opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a business undergoing significant expansion across the UK, Ireland, and international markets.

The Head of Finance will lead the finance function, driving commercial performance while maintaining robust financial governance. The position carries substantial influence, partnering with senior leaders to support strategic decision-making, growth initiatives, and the development of scalable systems and processes.

• Lead the finance team, building a high-performing function that drives growth
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting
• Provide commercial insight and analysis, including pricing strategies, margin optimisation, and investment appraisal
• Shape and implement financial strategy that supports sustainable growth and enhances profitability
• Act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders, offering commercial insight, analysis, and constructive challenge
• Utilise data analytics and platforms such as Power BI to transform financial information into actionable business intelligence
• Partner with senior leadership on business strategy, operational decisions, and growth planning
• Manage statutory accounts, audit, compliance, and risk oversight
• Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, decision-ready insights for stakeholders

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a growing service‑led or technology‑enabled organisation
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence decision‑making and challenge constructively
• Confident with data analytics, dashboards, financial systems, and automation tools (e.g., Power BI, ERP platforms)
• Hands‑on, adaptable professional able to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify financial information for varied audiences

• Salary up to £80,000
