The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture, repair, and overhaul of landing gears and flight-critical components for a customer base that includes OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and Operators in both commercial and military markets.

The Purchasing Analyst's primary purpose is to ensure the effective and efficient creation and flow of information and data within the Procurement Function and relevant external sources. They will also assist in Supply Chain Project Management, supporting the Senior Category Manager in all aspects of their role.

1. Accountable for producing and improving all departmental KPIs.
2. Collation and interpretation of supply chain-related information and data.
3. Manage and maintain ERP (INFOR LN) accuracy, including data on commodities, suppliers, lead-times, pricing, stock records, and delivery dates.
4. Perform trend analysis, including spend, forecasting, commodities, and supplier performance.
5. Manage RFQs, including drawing preparation and cost analysis.
6. Support contract control database management and administration.
7. Produce quarterly review packs for key suppliers.
8. Maintain department processes and procedures.
9. Prepare ad-hoc presentations and reports as required.
10. Train departmental members in procedures, systems, and data management.
11. Develop positive relationships within procurement and other HD functions.

Requirements:

• Experience in a Supply Chain / Aerospace function is desirable.
• Experience in presentation and report generation for Senior Management.
• Experience in Project Management is desirable.
• Proficient in ERP system’s Supply Chain functionality.
• CIPS and/or Degree qualification is advantageous.
• MS Excel (super user), MS Word, MS Outlook, and other relevant software skills.

• Effective communicator, persuasive and clear in verbal and written communication.
• Resilient, able to handle unplanned demands and prioritize tasks.
• Strong team player capable of completing tasks on time.
• Meticulous with attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Adheres to company policies and escalates issues appropriately.
• Ideally educated to degree level and fully CIPS qualified or willing to complete.
• Experience in Materials Management or similar environment is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Motivated to develop new skills and grow within the company.
• Valid driving license required.
