Architectural Designer
Job summary
A leading architectural firm is seeking an experienced Architect for a full-time role in Barking, with regular site travel. Responsibilities include preparing design proposals, producing detailed drawings, and ensuring projects meet deadlines. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience, strong Revit and Autocad skills, and excellent communication abilities. Fluent English is essential, and a passion for architecture is a must.

We're looking for an experienced Architect to join our team. This is a full time, onsite role based in Barking, with regular travel to sites. You'll be joining a team of six, in a small business that has a big impact.
- Preparing and resenting design proposals to clients.
- Producing detailed drawings.
- Preparing tender and planning applications.
- Building relationships with contractors, clients and other industry proffesionals. This will include negotiating, attending regular meetings and co-ordinating the work of contractors.
- Making site visits to check progress.
- Using problem solving skills to handle requirements and any issues that may arise during the build.
- Ensuring each project is on track to be completed within the agreed time frame.
- We're looking for someone who has strong visual awareness, and attention for detail.
- Strong drawing skills, with the ability to work in 3D would be preferred.
- Innovative with a wide imagination, the ability to think outside the box.
- Strong IT, and Maths skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and present presentations.
- A multitasker, with great time management skills, that can plan and organise projects.
- A problem solver, that thinks logical, analytical and creative.
- Someone that is always striving for better, and looking to develop their skills with their teams support.
