Oliver Bernard has partnered with a Commodities Trading firm seeking a highly skilled Front Office Quant Developer to join their Madrid-based team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work directly with traders and quantitative analysts, developing and enhancing pricing, risk, and analytics tools that drive real-time decision-making.

You will join a high-performance Front Office environment where speed, accuracy, and clean code are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and support Front Office pricing and risk applications
• Build volatility model frameworks
• Build FX frameworks
• Own risk reports in C#
• Own Excel pricing and risk sheets, Market Data frameworks
• Collaborate closely with Traders, Quants, and Risk Analysts to build robust tools in C# and Python
• Contribute to the evolution of quantitative libraries and real-time data analytics
• Work in a high-paced, delivery-focused Front Office team

Key Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience with pricing analytics libraries in an Options trading environment
• Experience developing and maintaining Excel pricing sheets
• Background in FX; experience in Commodities, Energy, Metals is advantageous
• Experience implementing new instrument models
• Advanced degree in a numerical discipline
• Python skills are advantageous

Compensation:

• Permanent Basic Salary: £180,000-£240,000 + Bonus Scheme and Benefits

Location:

• Madrid — 5 days a week in-office to collaborate closely with trading teams
