Qualifications

• Proven track record supervising a team of Jointers.
• Full UK driving license with a maximum of 3 points.
• DNO / IDNO LV, 11KV and/or 33KV cable jointing authorisations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise jointing teams and manage operational activities.
• Provide technical support and conduct quality safety audits.
• Recognise and respond to safety hazards on site.

Skills

Proficient in Productivity and Collaboration Software

Excellent communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Thorough knowledge of cable jointing procedures

Ability to interpret mains records

Knowledge of Electricity Supply Regulations

Understanding of Electricity at Work Regulations

Understanding of COSHH

Attention to detail

Confident in using plant and equipment

Education

NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds 232 in Electrical Engineering

CSCS card or affiliated

Tools

Hydraulically operated plant and equipment
