Salary: £75,000 - £85,000

About the Role
SF Recruitment working with a growing client who are seeking an experienced and strategic Head HR to lead and evolve our people agenda. This is a pivotal role responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support the company's growth, culture, and long-term objectives. You'll lead a small team, work closely with senior leadership, and play a key role in shaping the employee experience from attraction to retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the HR function, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Develop and implement HR strategies across talent acquisition, L&D, performance management, employee relations, reward & recognition, and organisational design
- Partner with leadership to foster a high-performance, inclusive culture
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programmes
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law and HR best practices
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes and workforce planning
- Manage HR budgets, systems, and reporting
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on complex HR matters
- Lead on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy and implementation
- Oversee change management and internal communications related to people initiatives
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role (e.g. HR Business Partner, HR Director, Head of HR)
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR policy
- Commercially aware with the ability to align HR strategy to business goals
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Track record of driving cultural change, improving engagement, and leading organisational development
- Experience in managing and developing a team
