Our clinical support patient‑facing administration workforce is vital to our organisation; without them, our front‑line Doctors, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals cannot deliver the excellent care we strive for. As a support to our clinical workforce within the Divisions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hospital wards. Your efforts will directly contribute to the well‑being and comfort of our patients, making you an integral part of their healthcare journey.

• Provide a professional and efficient reception service to the Directorate, ensuring that all patients and visitors are welcomed in an appropriate manner whilst adhering to the Trust Policy in Data Quality.
• Greet patients and visitors at reception in a helpful, polite and efficient manner.
• Check all demographic details for patients on arrival, updating these appropriately whilst adhering to the Trust Policies for data protection and patient confidentiality.
• Register patient’s attendance on EPR in real‑time.
• Deal with enquiries in a sympathetic and professional manner using tact and diplomacy when supporting anxious patients and their relatives.
• Adhere to all of the Trust’s Policies and Procedures.
• Book follow‑up appointments accurately ensuring the correct referral to treatment (RTT) status is recorded in accordance with Trust guidelines.
