An exciting opportunity has arisen, following internal promotion, for an emerging leader to fulfil the role of a Band 8a Ward Matron. We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate nurse leader committed to the highest standards of care/patient experience, improvement and innovation. Providing operational ward management and strategic direction for the Spinal Cord Injury Centre and Rehabilitation Ward and associated services.LSCIC boasts having one of the shortest lengths of stay in the UK for people rehabilitating after a Spinal Cord Injury and The Jubilee Rehabilitation Ward a national centre of excellence is presently going substantial transformation in the way it delivers it services to our patients.

You would be joining a dynamic and diverse team of specialists to enhance, develop and promote excellent working practises, as well as to contribute to the Trust values, aims and objectives as well all working towards achieving an outstanding CQC rating.
This role will enable you to use your considerable leadership skills, clinical knowledge and, to take a leading role in supporting the large nursing teams to ensure they get the most out of their team's collective knowledge and skills. This role presents an excellent opportunity to use RNOH's internal leadership pathway for your personal and professional development.
