Job summary
A leading manufacturer in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Production Planning Manager to lead the planning team and ensure that manufacturing schedules meet customer demands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning within a manufacturing environment and experience managing a team. This permanent position offers flexible working hours and additional benefits such as medical insurance and generous holiday allowance.

Responsibilities
- Review MRP outputs to prioritize daily production schedules.
- Identify material shortages and initiate corrective actions.
- Lead a team of production planners.
- Analyze part demand, usage trends and forecasts.
- Maintain and improve planning data including BOMs, routings and work instructions.
Skills
Are you an experienced Production Planner who has mentored a team within a manufacturing environment? Do you have a strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and planning processes? We are working with a leading manufacturer who are looking for a Production Planning Manager on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for leading the planning team to ensure that manufacturing schedules meet customer demands while maintaining efficient stock levels.

- Proven experience in production planning, including MRP and inventory control
- Experience managing a team
- Background working within an engineering or manufacturing environment
