A leading logistics company in the UK seeks an experienced export manager to arrange collections and handle customer inquiries. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in sea/ocean exports, proficiently manage documentation, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication. This role requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Will be reporting to the department manager and be responsible for order management, dealing with customer enquiries, export documentation, bills of lading and work in close cooperation with our offices while servicing UK customers.
We are looking for a person who can add extra quality to our already highly skilled team.
The main part of the job is to arrange export collections for our UK based customers with various task such as checking deliveries, instructing our customs department to issue customs documents, bills of lading + other administrational tasks. The job role includes but is not limited to, handling LCL, FCL shipments, entries, C of O's, liaising with shipping lines & co-loaders, hauliers & the wider customer base.
The successful candidate, must possess sea / ocean export experience, bookings, quotes, exports entries and producing bills of lading. Looking for someone who is highly motivated with a good attention to detail. A minimum of 2 years' experience.
