A leading environmental consultancy in Shrewsbury is seeking an experienced Senior Hydrogeologist to lead hydrogeology projects and mentor junior staff. Qualifications

  • Chartered status with GeolSoc, IES, IEMA, CIWEM, or equivalent.
  • BSc/BEng in Hydrogeology or relevant subject; MSc or postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Proven field experience, including drilling, sampling, groundwater/surface water monitoring, and aquifer testing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage hydrogeology projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and interpret conceptual site models and large datasets.
  • Prepare, review, and communicate technical reports and advice.

Skills

Chartered status with GeolSoc, IES, IEMA, CIWEM, or equivalent
Proven field experience
Strong teamwork abilities
Project management skills
Client management skills
Leadership abilities

Education

BSc/BEng in Hydrogeology or relevant subject
MSc or postgraduate qualification preferred
