Job summary
A healthcare staffing organization in Burton upon Trent is seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry to join their NHS team. You will conduct biochemical tests, validate results, and support a 24/7 shift system. The ideal candidate should have HCPC registration and a degree in Biomedical Science, along with experience in clinical biochemistry and familiarity with Roche analysers. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £22.00 – £26.00.
Qualifications
- HCPC registration is essential for practice.
- Post-registration experience in clinical biochemistry is required.
- Completion of or working towards a specialist portfolio in clinical biochemistry is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Conduct biochemical tests on patient samples and validate results.
- Provide detailed reports to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
