Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Vascular Scientist to join our team in Stoke. This role is essential in providing high-quality vascular ultrasound services to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing vascular ultrasounds, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostics. What will your responsibilities be :

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting vascular ultrasound examinations, including carotid, aortic, and peripheral arterial and venous studies. You will independently perform scans and generate detailed reports, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Your duties will include maintaining accurate records, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and staying updated with the latest advancements in vascular science. You will be expected to participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of the vascular service.

Qualifications and Experiences:

• Fully accredited member of the UK SVT (Society for Vascular Technology) or HCPC registered in vascular science
