A family-run independent provider of residential care is recruiting Residential Care Workers to provide 24/7 support for children facing various challenges. Candidates must be willing to work on a rota, including sleep-in and waking night shifts. This role includes opportunities to develop your career and achieve an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in residential care, fully funded by the company.
Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week (sleep in / waking night will be expected). Advertised salary includes for night working.

Our welcoming homes provide 24/7 care for young people within the home. The home is for children all facing a variety of their own challenges, and we are looking for enthusiastic and caring people to help make a difference to these children.
During your 6-month probation period, you will be enrolled in an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in residential care, if you do not already hold one. This will be fully funded and you will be given plenty of time and support to complete; however, you must be self-motivated to complete the qualification. Sleep in shifts and waking nights are required. You will work on a rota that involves 24/7 availability.
Care Today is a family-run independent provider of Residential homes for children of varying ages, along with our sister company Parallel Parents Fostering, who have been rated Ofsted Outstanding since 2010.

Sleepovers are paid at 60.00 per sleep; Waking night paid at 15.00 per hour. We also pay sleepovers whilst on holiday (based on average sleeps from previous 52 weeks). Bonus for completing L3 diploma. Overtime paid for above contractual hours worked.
