About the Role: Analytical & Development Chemist
Joining their UK team based in the South Midlands, you'll take on the role of an Analytical & Development Chemist. Reporting to the Head of Analytical Development, you'll be responsible for providing both technical and leadership input into our client's analytical, quality-controlled laboratory.
Responsibilities:
· Act as a key member of their R&D quality team, supporting their operations.
· Ensure quality control & support with technical functions for the process of manufacturing & recycling Food-Grade polymer materials.
· Assist with developing new polymers & improve existing to enhance the quality, performance, & sustainability of recycled materials
· Conduct tests on recycled materials to evaluate their physical, chemical, and mechanical properties.
· Frequent liaising with UK and EU food standards agencies.
Requirements:
· PHD in Chemistry or similar.
· Strong knowledge of analytical techniques, especially GC-MS.
Desirable requirements:
· Master's in chemistry (or similar) with time served industry experience in a similar role. EG: as a development or analytical chemist, chemical engineer, polymer or materials scientist.

· Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
