A pharmaceutical manufacturing company near Preston is seeking a Production Chemist to join their team. The role involves the synthesis, dispensing, and distribution of radiopharmaceutical products. Candidates must have a degree in a relevant scientific discipline and prior experience in highly regulated environments such as cGMP or ISO. Pharmaceutical Production Chemist Job

Are you looking for a varied role in Pharmaceutical Production? Do you have experience of working to GMP or ISO standards? A manufacturer of specialist radiopharmaceuticals are currently seeking a Production Chemist to join the team at their site near Preston. The role will involve the synthesis, dispensing and distribution of radiopharmaceutical products. This is an ideal opportunity if you have some prior experience in a highly regulated environment and you are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity.

Role Overview
  • Permanent, Full Time.
  • Due to the short shelf life of the products being manufactured you will be required to work unsociable shift patterns including nights and weekends (12 hour shifts). You will receive break periods meaning over a period of 28 days, 11 days are worked.
  • Synthesis of radiopharmaceutical products (cyclotron operation)
  • Dispensing હેઠળ of radiopharmaceutical products into vials.
  • Involvement in the packaging and shipment of products to patients.
Requirements
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent in relevant scientific discipline or equivalent working experience.
  • Prior experience of working in a highly regulated environment (to cGMP and/or ISO standards) is essential.
  • Must be able to work 12 hour shifts including nights/weekends.
  • Prior experience of working a similar shift shift pattern including nights is highly beneficial.
