Kitchen Team Leader – Preston East Premier Inn

You’ll

manage daily kitchen operations – including rotas, food orders, team leadership during busy services, and maintaining audit readiness. Collaborate closely with your Hotel Manager to ensure food quality and hygiene standards are met. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for those aiming to develop into a Head Chef position.

PAY RATE:

Up to £13.81 per hour

HOURS:

32 hours per week across 4 days, including evenings and weekends, with guaranteed hours to help plan your week.

What you’ll do:

• Lead our kitchen team, manage food orders, stock control, and control food costs for the hotel.
• Organise during service, manage workflow, and ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare, cook, and serve menu items according to specifications, from breakfast to pub classics.
• Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards, train the team, and keep records up to date.
• Step in to run shifts and support new team members’ integration.
• Learn kitchen management skills to prepare for more senior roles and career advancement.
