Job Description

Major Recruitment are seeking a talented Security Systems Engineer/Reactive Engineer on behalf of our successful client, a well-established security solutions provider based in Halesowen. This is an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to progress in their career, working in a supportive and dynamic team environment. You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining various security systems, with a focus on fault finding and system repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain a wide range of security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarms




• Diagnose and troubleshoot reactive faults efficiently




• Provide clear and concise service reports and documentation




• Collaborate effectively within a team, offering support to colleagues as required




• Be available for occasional out-of-town assignments

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the security industry with strong fault-finding skills




• Familiarity with a variety of security systems (e.g., Paxton, Hikvision, Avigilon, Salto, Galaxy)




• Excellent communication and organizational skills




• Ability to work independently and as part of a team




• Full UK driving licence




• IPAF and ECS certification ( but not essential)

Systems You'll Work With

• Access Control: Salto, Paxton, Came, Stentofon




• CCTV: Avigilon, Axis, Synetics, Hikvision, Dahua




• Alarms: Galaxy, Texecom, Eaton
