Job summary
A leading trading firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Trading Application Engineer. This role requires proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash, strong problem-solving skills, and familiarity with Linux environments. The position is hybrid, offering a competitive compensation up to GBP150,000 gross per annum. The ideal candidate is proactive and has experience in a financial markets setting. - Demonstrable experience in a similar role (ideally in a financial markets setting);
- A proactive and driven attitude;
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, Lua, PowerShell);
- Strong problem solving and communication skills - especially under pressure;
- Familiarity with Linux environments;
- Proficiency in SQL;
- Fundamental knowledge of networking.
