Your mission

As a Full Stack developer you will design intelligent systems and develop computer vision capabilities to deploying real-time AI in the field, you’ll shape scalable software that powers the next generation of autonomous defence platforms.

• AI Development: Design, develop, and implement computer vision-aided sensor and effector systems, focusing on enhancing system autonomy and intelligence.
• Collaborate in the development of autonomous behaviours for integration into multi-domain systems, ensuring seamless operation across various platforms.

• Software Design & Implementation: Lead the architecture and development of scalable, robust AI software solutions, optimizing for performance and reliability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration with other system components and platforms.

• Research & Innovation: Conduct research to stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI technologies and methodologies, applying this knowledge to foster innovation within projects.
• Experiment with new technologies and techniques to continuously improve AI capabilities and system performance.

• Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the performance, accuracy, and reliability of AI systems.
• Implement quality assurance practices to ensure software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and security.

• Field Work & Collaboration: Participate in deployable field work to test and optimise technology in real-world conditions.
• Collaborate with various functions, including mission operations, mission delivery, mechanical engineering, and production, to ensure cohesive project development and execution.

• Strong educational background with a degree in AI development, computer science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in C++ software development, with a focus on computer vision and autonomous systems.
• Expertise in full stack development, including proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience deploying solutions within multi-domain environments is highly preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in collaborative team settings.
• Strong communication skills to articulate complex concepts and solutions clearly.
• Due to the sensitive nature of the work, the ability to obtain UK security clearance
