Job summary

We’re looking for a Structural Technician with a keen eye for detail and a passion for building design to join our client's dynamic team. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality technical drawings for logistics, industrial, warehouse, and commercial projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on a wide range of fast-paced and technically challenging developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and detailed structural drawings using AutoCAD
- Support the design team in delivering efficient and buildable structural solutions
- Assist in the preparation of general arrangement and detailed construction drawings
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other technicians across disciplines
- Maintain drawing standards and ensure models are coordinated with other design teams
- Contribute to project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and contractors
Skills & Experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD (essential)
- Experience with Revit or a willingness to develop Revit skills (preferred)
- Strong understanding of structural detailing in steel and concrete
- Previous experience working on logistics, industrial, warehouse, or commercial buildings is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and team-working skills
- A methodical and proactive approach to problem-solving
Qualifications
- HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field)
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant industry experience
