Job summary
A respected independent Lloyd's broker is seeking an experienced US Property Binder Broker to manage a portfolio of US Property Binder business. This key role involves negotiating placements, maintaining strong relationships with coverholders and insurers, and ensuring compliance with Lloyd's market processes. Candidates should have solid experience in a US Binding Authority role, strong negotiation skills, and a proactive mindset. The position offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing team in a reputable firm based in Greater London.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a US Binding Authority role, ideally with exposure to US property risks.
- Solid understanding of Lloyd's market processes and compliance requirements.
- Strong relationships with underwriters and market contacts.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of US Property Binder business.
- Negotiate placements and terms with underwriters.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with coverholders, producing brokers, and insurers.
- Ensure all binders are compliant and efficiently managed.
- Identify opportunities for new facilities or program enhancements.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver high service level.
