A regional health authority is seeking a Digital Projects Manager for a 6-month fixed-term placement in Lerwick, offering full-time hours and a salary range of £41,608 to £50,702. Digital Projects Manager (Ref: 228126)
Fixed Term funded placement for 6 months, Full Time 37 hours, Monday to Friday, Band 6 - Salary Range £41,608- £50,702 per annum (pro-rata), Distant Island Allowance of £2,482 per annum (pro rata).
NHS Shetland is offering a paid placement opportunity commencing in November 2025. This role is ideal for someone with an IT Project Management background, looking to transition to a career with the NHS in Scotland. This contract is for a fixed-term to 31 March 2026 due to Armed Forces Talent Programme funding restrictions. At the end of this period, funding position will be reviewed to extend or you will have the opportunity to consider applying for other vacancies.
Contribute to delivering effective Digital Services in a health care environment. The role is designed to support the transition to a career with the NHS in Scotland and to bring your previous experience to the Digital Projects team.
You are a member of the Armed Forces community seeking your next career move. An IT Project Management background is preferred for this placement.
Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to a formal offer of employment.
You will be expected to comply with the Induction Standards and Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers within 3 months of commencing your role – details available at the Nes Scotland toolkit website.
