Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled assistance to the registrant and the wider peri‑operative team in the circulating role.
  • Provide patient care in accordance with health board policy and knowledge of the specialities affiliated with Glangwili General Hospital.
  • Participate as a member of the peri‑operative team and exercise excellent communication skills while working to exact timeframes.
  • Commit to an out‑of‑hours and on‑call schedule.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Agored Cymru Perioperative support, level 3 qualification, or working towards this qualification.
  • Knowledge of Orthopaedic trauma, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, ENT, Urology and Emergency theatres.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work within time constraints.
  • Desirable: ability to communicate in Welsh. English and/or Welsh speakers are welcome to apply and the Health Board offers support to meet Welsh language requirements.
