A leading health organization in London is seeking a Clinical Vascular Scientist to join their dynamic Vascular Laboratory. The role involves performing advanced vascular ultrasound services, including transcranial Doppler imaging and assessing vascular access for dialysis. Responsibilities
- Perform transcranial Doppler imaging for national paediatric sickle cell screening.
- Conduct renal artery and transplant kidney scanning.
- Assess vascular access for dialysis, including mapping for endo-AVF.
- Perform diabetic foot workups with pedal arterial imaging.
- Conduct urgent vasculitis assessments, including GCA pathways.
- Carry out standard carotid, peripheral arterial and venous scanning.

Our Vascular Laboratory offers a full range of advanced vascular ultrasound services. You'll be exposed to a diverse case mix and gain valuable experience with cutting‑edge techniques and specialist pathways.
- Transcranial Doppler imaging for the national paediatric sickle cell screening programme
- Renal artery and transplant kidney scanning
- Vascular access assessment for dialysis, including mapping for endo‑AVF
- Diabetic foot workups with pedal arterial imaging and bypass graft surveillance
- Urgent vasculitis assessments, including GCA pathways
- All standard carotid, peripheral arterial and venous scanning
- Tailored training and mentorship: Whether you're newly qualified or an experienced practitioner, we provide tailored support and development in areas where you want to grow.
- Supportive and skilled team: You’ll join a well‑structured team with good senior support.
- Time for development: Dedicated non‑clinical time each week for audit, research, and project work.
- Opportunities to teach: Contribute to training STP and non‑STP trainees, as well as junior doctors and schools as part of healthcare science week.
- Integrated care: Be an integral member of several multidisciplinary teams across vascular, stroke, renal, cardiac and paediatric haematology services.
