Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for a varied role involving both workshop and mobile duties in Caerphilly. Competitive earnings of up to £65,000 OTE are offered. - Complete all documentation and job cards accurately.
- Deliver a high standard of work both in the workshop and on customer sites.

Education
We're looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join a busy dealership in Caerphilly. This is a unique role combining both workshop and mobile/on-call work on a weekly rotation, offering excellent earning potential of up to £65,000 OTE. With recent contract wins and continued growth, this is an exciting time to join a secure and well-supported team.
- Diagnose, service, and repair HGVs and trailers
- Complete standard maintenance and major overhauls
- Carry out pre-MOT inspections and routine safety checks
- Identify and resolve vehicle defects efficiently
- Complete all documentation and job cards accurately
- Deliver a high standard of work both in the workshop and on customer sites
- Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ / IMI) in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in an HGV dealership or fleet workshop environment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage your workload independently and to deadlines
- A proactive, safety-first approach
- £50,000 - £65,000 OTE (including workshop/mobile/on-call earnings)
- Weekly rotation: one week workshop-based, one week mobile with on-call
