Job description
Overview

East Midlands / temporary / £13.69 - £18.00 per hour Sleep Bonus. TeacherActive is proud to be working with a children’s residential provider in the heart of Nottingham to recruit a Residential Support Worker / RSW. The residential home supports 2 to 7 children and young people aged 7–18 with EBD (Emotional Behavioural Difficulties), SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health), or complex trauma.

Responsibilities
  • Provide residential support to children and young people in a therapeutic environment.
  • Work on a full-time basis with a 2 on 4 off shift pattern.
  • Support a child-focused ethos and help ensure children feel safe, secure, heard, and respected.
Qualifications
  • Experience of working to therapeutic models such as P.A.C.E.
  • Level 3 Children and Young People’s Workforce or willingness to work towards it.
  • Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviours or trauma.
  • Flexibility with shifts.
