We\'re on the hunt for an enthusiastic and dynamic Year 6 Teacher to join a fantastic, good-rated, 2-form entry primary school in Redbridge, starting in September 2025! This is a full-time, permanent role where you\'ll have the opportunity to inspire and challenge Year 6 students as they prepare for the next exciting step in their educational journey. Responsibilities
- Inspiring Year 6 students: Plan, prepare, and deliver exciting and engaging lessons that are packed with challenges to help Year 6 students soar to new heights.
- Guiding their transition: Help students make the leap from Primary to Secondary school with confidence by developing their key skills in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking.
- Making learning fun: Foster a positive and energetic classroom atmosphere where learning is always exciting, interactive, and inspiring.
- Tracking progress: Regularly assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback, helping each child to unlock their full potential and reach new goals.
- Collaborating with the team: Work alongside a fantastic group of teachers to share ideas, best practices, and deliver a top-notch curriculum.
- Connecting with parents: Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Getting involved: Take an active role in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide activities.
- A passionate Year 6 Teacher with a track record of success in the classroom.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2, especially Year 6, and a deep understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that will help you build connections with students, staff, and parents.
- Someone who thrives in a team environment and loves contributing to a positive school culture.
